Girl Scouts of the USA is the world’s largest organization dedicated to helping all girls everywhere build character and gain skills for success in the real world. Girl Scouts of Tanasi Council is highly regarded as the preeminent organization for girls in East Tennessee. We’re known for our strong neighborhood troops, our community service and our unique outreach programs. Our program has proven overwhelmingly successful because we bring the Girl Scout experience to girls when and where they need it. Tanasi Council reaches more girls by providing three ways for girls to participate in Girl Scouting: Girl Scouts in your Neighborhood – our Traditional Troops, Outreach and Individually Registered Girls. Our program, created by educational experts and unequalled in quality, holds the patent on building resourceful and successful women. Girl Scouts provides a safe and supportive environment where girls learn the value of responsible decision-making. Girl Scouts are better equipped to make sound decisions when they reach critical crossroads in their development, allowing them to grow strong both physically and emotionally. Our girls cannot grow strong without inspiring and invaluable volunteers supporting them. Quite simply, there would be no Girl Scouting without you.
