Do you participate in the fastest growing sport in the United States? If you watch birds, you do. Birds are present all over the world and bring joy to many who observe bird songs and behavior. These bird observers are called birders.
At the end of each school year, any girl on the honor roll for every report period may add a gold star above the honor patch.
At the end of each school year, any girl that has been on the honor roll for two reporting periods during the year may add a silver star above the honor patch.
Welcome to Raccoon Run. Come enjoy the varying habitats at Camp Tanasi. Use your eyes, ears, nose, and mind to become a discoverer on our trail. Your walk down the trail should bring you closer to the nature all around you, and help you learn and remember things about the past.
This patch is awarded after the completion of a Tanasi Tower training session. Please contact our Program Department for details. 865-688-9440
The purpose of this patch program is to show how fascinating it is to look at familiar objects with microscopes and to teach girls the difference between the worlds of Biological Science and Physical Science. Older girls learn about career options in these scientific fields that use microscopes. Cadettes and Seniors might want to organize a Girl Scout event where they teach this program to Brownies and/or Juniors.
This patch focuses on increasing involvement of older girls in the activities offered by the Girl Odyssey Activity Packet.
Tanasi Girl Scout Council is excited to offer you an opportunity to experience Girl Scouting with your Girl Scout. The My Family Loves Girl Scouting Patch Program was designed to help parents (and other interested adults), girls and leaders work together to provide an exciting and worthwhile program while having fun. |
