The Girl Scout Museum

The Girl Scout Museum at Daisy's Place is owned and operated by Girl Scouts of Tanasi Council, Inc.  The museum has a collection of memorabilia representing almost a century of Girl Scouting in East Tennessee and is named for Juliette "Daisy" Gordon Low, the founder of Girl Scouting.

The collection contains early uniforms, badges, camping gear and dolls, including a one-of-a-kind Girl Scout doll once exhibited at the Smithsonian.  Additional displays include the history of Girl Scout Cookies, international Girl Scout and Girl Guide items, and depictions of early Girl Scout history in Knoxville, Tennessee and across the United States.

The archival library allows access to vintage and modern Girl Scout handbooks, song books, craft books, camping and nature guides, scrapbooks and newsletters dating from 1912 to today.

Visitors may purchase a Girl Scout Museum collector's patch in the Girl Scout shop across from the museum.  Girl Scouts may also complete requirements are available through the council office.
